When the Vassar Club of New York approached me about a new website, they wanted to emphasize the grandeur and promise of New York City. The homepage takes advantage of photogenic New York with large, vivid depictions of the city combined with inspirational quotes from world-renowned writers. The design incorporates Vassar's maroon and gray school colors, another Club request. Rather than have the Club's administration learn how to update yet another website, I integrated it with their existing tools: news articles are automatically imported from the Club's Facebook page and events from its Google Calendar account. I've since used this design for the Boston and Washington, D.C., clubs, forming a unified network of websites for Vassar's regional alumni clubs.
